There's two unique different methods to share your assistant content:

  1. Share Prototype (Externally, aimed at user collaboration)
  2. Export (Internally, aimed at stakeholder collaboration)

1. Share Prototype

Generate a prototype link to share externally with stakeholders, testers or user groups. Share links can be created when you're in Test mode or in the Content Manager.

You can configure how the shareable prototype appears & functions to your users and any additional settings.

  • Appearance and Branding: You can configure the interface color and branding icons for the purposes of Prototyping.*
  • Test Persona: You can use an existing Variable State/Persona or create a new Test Persona to have your Prototype run through/simulate specific variable values/states set by you, during the conversation.
  • Password Protection: Add password-access to your prototype link so that you can control access for testers/prototypers or if you

*Appearance and Branding changes in Shareable Prototyping links will NOT reflect in the final production version and are cosmetic for Prototyping purposes.

2. Export as...

You can export your project as two formats, either (1) NLU Data or (2) Assistant content.

  1.  With NLU Data, you can export your NLU content in your Assistant to the NLU provider of your choice. More info here.

  2. With Assistant content you have the option to export your AI agent design as a:
    • Assistant File (JSON): a generated .vf/.JSON that can be uploaded into any Voiceflow workspace and also an exportable code-friendly file.
    • PDF: exporting your screens and design into a PDF file
    • Image (PNG): a snapshot of the current canvas screen in an image-file format
    • Dialogs (CSV): a .CSV file of the Agent dialogs.
