This week, we're highlighting our newest integration, recent + upcoming events, and previewing a new user testing feature.

Product Feature: Zapier Integration 📨

We’re excited to launch our newest integration - Zapier! Housed within our Integration Block, Zapier lets you create ‘zaps’ that automate nearly anything - emails, Twitter, Facebook - you name it, they have it.

Excited to see what our Voiceflow community builds! Not familiar with Zapier? Check out our YouTube tutorial to learn more.

Spring Cleaning 🧹

The VF team has been hard at work doing spring cleaning. There have been countless stability, security and optimization tweaks added, making our users' lives easier.

We've added a Status page, which includes our integrations.

Community Updates 🤝

Voice Tech TO

We attended our very first demo night on May 30, hosted by Voice Tech TO (VTTO) and VoiceTech Global at Loblaw Digital. VTTO is for developers, designers, and product managers to meet and exchange knowledge on the subject of voice products—how to make them, and how to make them better.

We look forward to attending and hosting future events with VTTO to provide our community with an opportunity to get inspired with various voice demos and presentations.

TOHacks

Over the weekend, we had the chance to be a sponsor at TOHacks. A student-run hackathon in it’s second year, TOHacks was held at Ryerson University in the heart of Toronto.

Special shout out to team Xpiry. They built an app to reduce food waste without writing a single line of code!
Their entire app was built with Voiceflow using our Google Sheets Integration.

After much deliberation, we awarded “Best Voice App” to team CaliOrBust for their interview preparation app for Software Engineers.

It was a an incredible opportunity to see everyone's imagination and creativity prosper within a 24 hour window. We can't wait to participate next year!

Voiceflow HQ Hackathon

We recently hosted our first internal team hackathon. We’ve grown substantially in the last few weeks, so we thought it would be a great way to help the team bond and get a deeper understanding of our tool. Our challenge was to create something useful for the office! We split into teams of two for 2 hours.

We put ourselves in our users’ shoes and created several useful skills, most of them embodying a virtual concierge with Zapier+Slack integration. Ultimately, the result was a brainstorming session that occurred afterwards about roadmapping improvements + future features that’ll greatly improve UX.

Upcoming Features 🔮

Speaking of improvements - here’s a sneak peak of our new in-app testing tool, which has been completely overhauled:

You can walk through your projects block by block, discover issues, and debug - all within the same spot. We've been working on this feature for a while, and can't wait to share it with you in July.

Voice Summit 2019 ✈️

The Voiceflow team will be attending Voice Summit 2019 in Newark, NJ, next month! With so many people from around the world attending, we thought it would be a great opportunity to meet our users.
